Welcome

Palo Verde Ranch is a serene community of Alpine, California, adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest in San Diego County. The Ranch is ideal for families who are seeking fresh air, privacy, adventure and wide-open spaces within easy driving distance of San Diego and its international airport.

The Ranch consists of 233 residential parcels, ranging from 2 to 8 acres. Nestled in the mountains at 1800 feet elevation and 33 miles from the Pacific Ocean as the crow flies, residents of the ranch enjoy ideal weather year-round. Warm summers and cool winters are followed by temperate autumns and springs.

The Ranch has two lakes with pavilions, a clubhouse, a tennis court and a horse-riding arena. In addition to the riding arena there are miles and miles of trails for hiking and riding. On the ranch, there is no need to trailer your horse in order to find a place to ride.

The clubhouse is a gated, members-only complex that looks out onto Palo Verde Lake, a 50-acre private lake with a sandy beach and Swim platforms. Residents can swim, fish, sail, kayak, paddle board and dock their electric boats in the lake.

Adjacent to Palo Verde Lake is a large, covered pavilion with picnic tables, bathrooms, BBQs, a sand volleyball court, badminton court, horseshoe pit and a playground. The clubhouse can be reserved by members for large and small private events and has a fireplace, dance floor, pool table, sauna, Fitness room, and full kitchen and bar.

Palo Verde Ranch hosts many activities throughout the year for its residents including a bass fishing tournament, Halloween Trunk or Treat, a summer picnic and a tree lighting ceremony.
